Honestly, we you read that passage in revelations it seems clear to me that he is referring to the book of Revelations especially since this was no compiled or canonized Bible at the time so it seems that He could not have been referring to the actual Bible as it did not exist in it’s form that you are referring to.

Now to me the principle still applies do not add or take from God’s word at all but in context of the passage it seems that He is explicitly referring to the writings in Revelations.

I am of the Baptist faith, but do not go by that name. We have met in home and in small groups here and there. I just came across this site and have not read very much. But there are names that I know well that I saw on this site and have read many books by many of them over the last thirty fours plus years. I have some works: 2Thess. 2-"the man of sin" and Matt. 24; etc. Letters of debates with ministers, etc. Many chapters on Revelation from Idealist or spiritualist view point.
